Fr. John is the second pastor of St. John of the Cross.  He was appointed Administrator of SJC on May 1, 2018, then Pastor on November 1, 2018 by Bishop Nelson Perez.  He was ordained on May 17, 2003 by Bishop Anthony Pilla. His home parish at the time of ordination was St. Christopher in Rocky River.  He served as Parochial Vicar at St. John Vianney (Mentor) and St. Mary (Hudson) and has been pastor at Ss. Robert & William in Euclid since January 3, 2010.   Fr. John serves as pastor of both SJC and SRW.  

Fr. John is the oldest of six, with four brothers and a sister.  He grew up on Cleveland's West Side, spending the most time at St. Bernadette Parish (Westlake).  He went to St. Ignatius High School, John Carroll University, Borromeo Seminary, and St. Mary Seminary. He loves to spend time with his friends and babysit his nieces and nephews. When asked what he loved most about being Catholic, he said that the Eucharist was most meaningful. As a priest he loves spending time with people of all ages and being a part of their lives.
