Tree of LifeAs part of our 10th Anniversary we will be installing a permanent Memorial of who we are. It will be called the SJC Tree of Life. It will hang in the Gathering Space and be a testament to generations to come of our love and commitment to our beloved parish. I ask each parishioner to consider purchasing a “leaf” on the tree to include their own family name, or in honor/memory of a loved one. Each “Leaf” on the tree will is a $125 donation to the parish. We will install the tree in October and Bishop Perez will bless it when he is here for Mass on November 16 at 4 pm. See elsewhere in the bulletin on ordering a leaf. I look forward to this beautiful addition to our Gathering Space.

Liturgical Tribute Fund
One of the most important things that we can do when someone close to us dies is to honor their memory. As a way to do that, we have a Liturgical Tribute Fund here at St. John of the Cross Parish. All money donated to this fund in memory of a loved one will be used to purchase items utilized in our worship and help us to do all that we can to assure that we have what we need to worship well. Donations can be made in any amount, and the name of the donor and their loved one who has died will be placed in the bulletin recognizing their kindness and requesting prayers.

Legacy Giving
Being good and faithful stewards of the gifts God has given us is part of our Catholic responsibility. Estate planning can also be part of your stewardship journey. We want to make sure we provide what we can, for those we love. Considering a future gift to our parish can be another way to provide witness to the importance of our faith and express our gratitude to God. Parishioners In Need (PIN) Fund is dedicated to parishioners in need. As followers of Christ, we are called to help our brothers and sisters. Through your generosity in recent years, we have maintained a modest fund which has provided emergency assistance to parishioners facing severe financial challenges.
